Water pumps are for
modelers who wish
to extend their steam plant's operating times. The water pumps bore is
3/16" and the
stroke is 1/8". The water pump intake/oulet thread sizes are 1/4"-40
and use 5/32" copper tube for plumbing. The water pump shown was designed to compliment both our engines performance as well as it's appearance.
Our Water pump kit includes everything the modeler needs for their steam plant. The kit consists of the shaft driven water pump kit shown above for installation on the engine as well as our water pump bypass kit and a one way boiler clack valve (both which are shown on our accessories page). Two feet of 5/32" OD copper tube is supplied with this kit for making the necessary plumbing connections. The tube ferrules supplied in the kit will need to be silver soldered by the modeler after he/she has finished routing the copper tube to each component.
