Leading up to the formation of Monahan Steam Models Inc. in 2003, our background consisted of the design, development and manufacturing of complex products for diverse industries including the Private Sector, Law Enforcement, Government, Aero Space, Medical, Marine, Robotics, Film and Computer Hardware Industries. Working in a diverse arena of technology for many years has provided our company with hard won, first hand experience and knowledge in design and manufacturing which has continually given us the leading edge in our industry. Monahan Steam Models Inc. own and operate specialized equipment that is used by Aero Space and Medical device contractors.


Model engineering has always been a hobby, an interest, as well as a passion of ours for many, many years. Model steam engines have been around for as long as their full size counter parts. We would like to continue this tradition by providing only the highest quality model engineering products possible by drawing upon our knowledge of precision fabrication/engineering.


Upon examining and appreciating everything that had been done up to this point throughout the history of this hobby, both currently as well as over the years, we chose to throw everything we knew about this, out the window so-to-speak, and start from scratch. Drawing upon our vast knowledge in the technology based fields, many years of trial and error have gone into the research and development of every aspect of these fine models, while keeping with the timeless and classic look of these subjects.


Here at Monahan Steam Models Inc. we utilize only the most up-to-date and cutting edge technology. Coupled with good old fashioned creativity and craftsmanship we offer only the finest, most detailed and realistic, collector-quality steam models. Designed, developed, tested and manufactured inhouse, absolutely none of our products will ever be outsourced for production offshore as is the pattern with more and more companies. Keeping all production in-house allows us complete control over quality from start to finish.
